Our client is one of the worldwide leading engineering companies of equipment for the building material industry. The company provides complete manufacturing systems, but also single machines and also realizes plant modifications.
Our clients’ portfolio covers the complete project process: from the planning phase over the project engineering to the delivery and the assembling until the implementation including after-sales service.
The enterprise with its headquarter in the area of Münster/Bielefeld (Germany) employs several thousand employees. In the course of the company’s further development, the portfolio will be amended by offering cement plants to customers and investors on a BOT (build-operate-transfer) basis.
In particular, the company will establish cement plants according to its customer’s demands in the required country, which will be operated and maintained by our client and his employees.
Only the necessary resources have to be provided by our client’s customers.
For the development of this new business segment we are looking for the “Manager Operations and Maintenance” (m/f).
Tasks and objectives:
You will accompany your colleagues from the Sales Department when they visit customers, nationally and internationally, to represent the company’s operational competence and to support in contract negotiations.
Additionally, you will develop individual solutions considering client specific requirements and technical specifications. Once the customer’s assignment is achieved, you manage the on-site realization of the concept and the following staffing of the cement plant to ensure a smooth production process.
Regular competition checks and market observations are also part of the field of responsibilities of the “Manager Operations and Maintenance”.
In this newly created position you will initially collaborate in the development of a manual, which will provide detailed information on the proper operation and the related processes of a cement plant. It shall also provide practical advices, e. g. what to do if there are deviations in the production process, and key service aspects as well as their recommended intervals.
